iO Associates were extremely excited to be co-hosting alongside Lehigh Valley AWS User Group, who last week brought you a fantastic meetup! We were joined by Donna DeMarco, who taught us about her journey on AWS since she first became a customer in 2007.
Donna’s session was titled:15 Years with AWS: Wins, Lessons Learned and Hurricane Sandy.
This was a unique opportunity to hear from such an early customer of the platform: we learned why she moved to the cloud, what has and hasn’t worked, and the lessons she’s learned as the tool has evolved!
About our speaker:
Not only has Donna been working on AWS for 15 years, but she has also been teaching on the subject for Kutztown University for over 6 years. She is also an integral figure in driving STEM engagement for High School Girls in the Lehigh Valley, organizing ‘Girls in STEM’.
